Legal Question in Family Law in New York
Husband cheating for the second time
My husband and I have 2 young children. I discovered he was cheating on me 3 years ago, and kicked him out of our home. He rented an apartment in the city and would pick up the kids on weekends. We reconciled a year later; however he retained the apartment (with my approval) and we resumed our relationship with him visiting us every weekend and staying at the apartment during the work week. I have just found written evidence of a relationship with someone from his job which he has admitted to. During our last separation I was led to believe (by my own attorney) that if he chose to, he could come to our home each weekend sleeping downstairs and visiting with his sons and leaving again on Sunday evenings. Is this information accurate? Is my mental state of any importance to the court? We were just about ready to divorce the last time when he asked for another chance and I agreed although I still did not trust him. I do not want to have to have him in my house every weekend; I will have a hard time affording an expensive attorney again. I am hoping I can get some information through your website before I proceed again. Thank you very much!

Re: Husband cheating for the second time
Unforuntately, your situation requires an attorney who can spend a lot of time on your case. It is extremely complicated. As it is often said "don't hate the players, hate the game."
