Legal Question in Family Law in New York
My husband is having a facebook affair. I have been staying with my brother this summer who lives an hour and a half away. School is approaching and I am thinking about enrolling the kids in the town my brother lives in but I'm not sure if legally I am allowed to.

You are the legal parent of the children. You are entitled to register them anywhere you want until a court tells you otherwise. If your husband attempts to stop you, you can then decide to either start a divorce action or a family court action for custody but you still should be able to get the children enrolled where you want.
