Legal Question in Family Law in New York

My husband and I have filed for divorce and we've lived apart for several months now. He keeps putting me off on getting his things from the house. Can I legally put his things outside to force him to pick it up?

You would have to follow the terms and conditions under your Settlement Agreement. If there is no Settlement Agreement, I would deliver his "things" to his residence and request reimbursement in the divorce action.
