Legal Question in Family Law in New York

my husband and i filed for an uncontested divorce but was denyed because the judge wants papers from family court but my husband and i have never been to family court before so i don't understand what the judge wants what should i do

Maybe the documents delivered to the Judge indicates a Family Court proceeding? If not, the Judge will eventually figure out his or her mistake.
