Husband moved to FL, filed for divorce - what next?

We lived in NY. My husband left me, filed for divorce, then revoked it. I was granted spousal support. He then moved to FL and filed for divorce. Can divorce proceedings take place in NY or do I need to travel? Neither he nor I have agreed to terms in past, and probably won't in future, need a trial.

The big issue here is 'residency'. Either of you can file for divorce in any state where you have established 'residency'.

In NY residency is established by having a primary residence in NY for at least 1 year.
