Legal Question in Family Law in New York
My husband & I separated & reconciled a few times during our marriage due to domestic violence issues, adultery and I acquired full custody of our 5 year old daughter. A visitation order was granted during one of our splits, we reconciled and have now split again for good, is the order still valid, can i have it revoked? I have always offered him full access to our daughter but now his current living situation is questionable and I have learned from my daughter that after he gets her he leaves her and goes off on his own. He has a son from a previous relationship and I have seen this happen on numerous occasions. I have spoken to my husband addressing my concerns but they have fallen on deaf ears and he refuses to compromise. I am uncomfortable with the situations he put her in, is there anything I can do?

This order is still technically valid. You should file a petition in the family court for a modification of the visitation order. It is likely that the court will issue a new order since you reconciled.
