Legal Question in Family Law in New York

my husband and i have been seperated for many years, the home was in both our names, i continue to live in the home and he bought another home in just his name, he now says this is his house and he wants the contents in the house leaving me with nothing, what are my legal rights? can he takes this home away from me? do i have any right to the home he bought after we seperated. he is a very greedy man , there is no legal seperation he simple moved out and in with his boyfriend, stating he no longer wanted to be with a woman.

Since you are not legally separated he has equitable rights to your house but you also have equitable rights to his house.
