husband gone for 7 years

My girlfreind and I want to get married but she is still married to a man that has been gone for 7 yers with no contact at all, his last knowen address was in germany. What are her rights to a devorice? and how does she go about it? neither of us have money for a lawyer.

She has no "right" to a divorce, unless she starts an action for divorce and receives a judgment of divorce.
