My husband of 13yrs has had a child. What will I lose if I leave the home?

It appears that your husband committed adultery and you want to move out of the martial home and possibly file for divorce. On the granting of a divorce, martial assets would be subject to equitable distribution.

If your husband had a child during marriage, you have grounds for a divorce. You can file and seek to stay in the home. You don't necessarily lose anything by filing for divorce immediately.
