Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I'am about to get married to someone who owes child support. I wanted to know if the Child Support Agency hold me in debt as well? If so, how can I prevent that from occuring?

No, you can not be held responsible for your husband's child support obligation. As for your husband, he can be held to have received a benefit from your income and can have some of your income imputed to him. This can get complicated. A prenuptial agreement can help in some circumstances.
