Legal Question in Family Law in New York

is it illegal in nys to record phone conversations between my 6 year old daughter and her father? he asks her very inappropriate questions.

The law in NY is that one party to a telephone conversation must consent. Your 6 year old daughter is too young to consent. Therefore, I would think that it is illegal.
