insurance for minor children

My ex-hus is respons. on the divorce decree for med. ins. for my 2 children. He has just quit his job. My children do not have insur. They need to have it. I can pick them up under mine. Should I do this? Does he have to re-imburse me for it?

Re: insurance for minor children

He is obligated to obtain or continue insurance even though he quit his job. You will have to take him to court to compel him to obtain insurance. In the meantime, you might want to place them on your insurance until this can be resolved. You can ask the court to order him to reimburse you.
