i have joint custody and he lives somewere eals how can i get him back

You are not giving enough information for me to answer this question. Where did you get "joint custody"? Was it by court order, agreement, or some other way? Is "he" the child? If he is the child, where does the child live and how long has he lived there? Where do you live?
