If there is joint custody with one parent having physical placement, at what age can the child decide which parent he or she would like to live with. And what can the parent not having physical placement do?

Whether the court will consider were the child wants to live will depend on many factors, such as, the age of the child.

The parent who does not have physical custody can request physical custody.
