Re: kicked out of a house

A parent is legally obligated to provide for the support of their child until the child's majority or emanicipation. Additionally, a parent can be charged with child neglect or abuse if a parent deprives a child (in their charge) of care, basic needs, supervision, etc..

But, a parent's home, assets and property do not "belong" to the child. Nor can a child elect to abuse the parent or "reasonable" house rules, w/o consequence.

In addition, upon information and belief, there is no law that requires that a parent MUST live with their child or permit their child to live them, in their home.

Good luck,
