Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I have been laid off from a job that provided a fair to average wage. Now I have a new job at minimum wage. I just recently started this job and already the state is taking out the same amount of CS before I have check in hand. Literally leaving me with $75. a week to live on. I cannot even pay my rent. Whether it means anything my boy is 20 years old and his mother earns a very decent income . What can I do (other than quiting my job) to get these payments reduced before I end up homeless.
