Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Is there a law that would help a woman in her 50s, recently divorced, suffering from cancer, force a teen female child in H.S. to leave her house and live with the father? The need is due to the huge stress caused by the girl because she does not listen to mom concerning required times to be home (she has gone "out" as late as 3 a.m. despite being told she could not do so.} This resulted in mom calling the police as she feared her daughter's safety.

If the father is willing to take custody of her and there is an outstanding order that already dictates custody and visitation, you can do a consent motion to change custody.
