Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Laws reguarding legality of impregnation

This is a 100% serious question. I am wondering how the law works in reguards to impregnation. This is the scenario: There is a man and a woman. The woman wants the man to impregnate her but does not want him to be the father, merely a sort of sperm donor. Is this doable? How does the man legally protect himself? Thank you for any help you can provide.

Re: Laws reguarding legality of impregnation

Natural parents are obligated to support their children until the children obtain majority or emancipation. This obligation CANNOT be "signed" away, by a contractual agreement of the parents.

However, if a Court Orders the legal adoption, by another man (or woman, as the case may be), of the child, per a Petition, the "natural" father is deemed, no longer the father, and his obligations to the child/ren are then terminated.

Good luck,
