Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Can anyone other than a lawyer sign a supoena requesting information from fiancial institutions ( banks, Fidelity, etc.)? Can a plaintiff sign their lawyers name to a supoena?

A. Yes. The clerk of the court or judge may also issue a subpoena.

Q. Can a plaintiff sign their lawyers name to a supoena?

A. Absolutely not!
