Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I would like to leave my husband but not get divorced yet. A temporary separation because I am just tired of the things he says to me & just tired of us in general. Long history of nonsense. We have 4 children ages 13, 11, 9 & 1 1/2. He is the only one who works. I want to move out of state. Currently we live in Orange County, NY & I want to move down south because it is more affordable for me. What can I do to do this legally? Is there a certain way to do this? If so how long does it take & how much does it cost? Which state would this have to be done in? Can my husband stop me or can he make me come back after I move with the kids?? Do I have to tell him or can I just leave? What can I do?

I do not understand your question. What is "this"? Is this a "legal separation?" Is this a "custody order?" Is this an order allowing you to transfer the children out of state?

I think you need to speak to a lawyer. The information you seek is too complicated for this forum.

Mike.
