Is it legal to change locks?

I found my wife cheating on me. We have been married for four years. We currently live in coop apartment that was purchased by me before we got married. I have asked her to move out of the house immediately while I file for divorce. Can I change the locks and take all her clothes out? Is there any legal issue here?

If she voluntarily abandons the premises you may change the locks. You cannot force her to leave the apartment.

As for her clothes, you would retain responsibility for her clothes. Therefore, if her clothes are damages or destroyed you would be held responsible.
