Legal Question in Family Law in New York

legal division of property

My boyfriend and I bought a house and 15 acres together, both of our names

are on the mortgage, and it seems like we are done so I need to know what

happens next. I think he is going to stay so does he buy me out? How does

that work?

You should negotiate an arrangement to either buy/sell out or to determined the future course of your co-ownership of the property. Consult an experienced attorney to help you prepare proper documents.
