Have legal separation,how to turn to divorce decree?

I have a legal separation agreement filed in NY,am currently living in FL? How can I get the separation agreement turned into a final decree of divorce? Also,I am currently disabled, can I now ask for rehabilitative maintenence while I am disabled and while I train for a new career?

You are required to file a Petition for Dissolution of Marriage and accompanying documents. The separation agreement will be a part of that action, however, you must file the appropriate documents in Florida for the divorce.
