Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I have a legally binding common-law marriage but she just ran off and married someone else.Is it legal,and what can i do?

NY is not a common law marriage State. So how is it legally binding?

Assuming you have a valid marriage, the new marriage is a nullity. You would commence an action for divorce.
