can my level 2 sex offender husband legally adopt my minor children?
i have 4 kids all under 10 by my ex boyfriend and they all have the fathers last name but he does not do anything 2 support or care 4 them & never did,but my husband wants 2 legally adopt my kids only issue is he is a level 2 sex offender he caught that case when he was a juvinielle/youth offender but he is registered 4 life if so how can we go about this and what will the adoption proceddings consist of for him to adopt my kids?

Yes he can adopt with permission of his parole or probation officer if on parole or probation.
The proceedings will consist of numerous checks and if I were to bet, I would bet against success but I have been wrong before on these things.
If he has undergone a pychological progression and a qualified shrink will attach his name to a report in support of your application, that will go far in helping him get there. Also if the children are not of the same sex as he was convicted of molesting that might help too.
Finally I believe there is a way to request re-evaluation of your level. He should consult a criminal lawyer. You might also do well to proceed with this adoption under advice of counsel,as you mere application on his behalf could trigger an investigation.
