Legal Question in Family Law in New York

i live with my boyfriend we have one child together and we are splitting up and will share custody..what am i entitle to?

For the child, you may be entitled to child support depending on the child support agreement and the relative wealth of the parents.

If both of you are on the lease, you have to come to an agreement on the amount of money the movant will have to pay. Unless the landlord releases the person who is moving out, that person still has liability for the lease.

After reading Ms. McGill's answer, I would say that if you are the custodial parent you are entitled to child support. Period. How support is calculated depends on parental income. But, no matter what, you are entitled to child support if you are the custodial parent.
