Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I live in new york state, when my ex wife and i got divorced we agreed not to pay child support to each other, she has lost her job and now is taking me to court for child support, how can she do this if we ageed to no child support in our divorce

In New York and in most states, child support and visitation can always be modified.

If you had an attorney during the divorce, he/she should have informed you about the possibility of future modifications.

Child support cannot be "waived" by anyone. The court requires child support to be paid. If you had a lawyer take care of your divorce, he would/should have told you this.
