Legal Question in Family Law in New York

How long does it take for the parties to no longer be legally married after the Judgment of Divorce is entered? Is the Judgment of Divorce a separate thing from the Divorce Decree? Can the parties remarry the moment the judgment and/or decree is entered/issued?

The parties are divorced when the Judgment of Divorce is signed. The Judgment of divorce is essentially the divorce decree. The parties may remarry the moment the judgment of divorce is signed.
