how long does an uncontested divorce in NY state take?

It depends entirely upon the county in which it is filed. If the local Matrimonial Part is not busy, it can be as little as a few days. if it is busy or if you hit the vacation cycle wrong, it can take more than a month after filing before you have a judgment.
