If you informed the court that you did not know of the father's whereabouts in the beginning of the case, they could/should have told you what to do. If not, you can try contacting the court attorney or clerk of the court to ask what they would like you to do. Or you can try doing the following:

You might want to hire a private investigator to do a search.

You can try going to his last known address or work place and serving him there.

You can send out an inquiry to the post office, armed forces, public housing, public assistance, department of motor vehicles, health and hospitals, etc., to see whether any agencies have any information.

There are several websites that will search different computor banks for a person's whereabouts for a fee.
