My ex started working in the school district is 1980 We married in 1981. She is currently still working there. At the time of her retirement what percentage of her retirement will I be entitled to and will I continue to receive that benefit in the event of her death.

Your rights with regard to her pension depend upon the length of your marriage. You are entitled to an equitable distribution of the benefits acquired during the marital period, but not to any benefit for the period before or after the marriage.
