Marital Finances

My fiance has 5 kids with 4 different women. He is behind in child support with all of them. I have a great job and I own my own house. If I marry him can his baby mothers come after my assests? Earnings? Income Tax? Etc. If so how can I marry him and not be responsible financially?

You want to marry a man who has 5 kids, with 4 different women, that he doesn't support and your only concern is your money?

Don't co-mingle your bank account with his (no joint accounts). Don't put the house in his name. File your own tax returns.

If the 5 kids become a charge to the State (welfare) the state may look to you as the step-mom for some support.
