Marriage question

If a couple was married in New York City and have not lived together for over 15 years, but not legally separated, are they still considered married? Could there be a reverse common-law-wife clause?

Unfortunately you are still married and need a formal divorce. Contact me if you want more information. This is something which I can assist you with if you are in the Houston area.

Re: Marriage question

Under NY law your still are married. There is no such thing as a reverse common-law-wife clause.

15 years apart. Maybe it is time to make it legal.

Mike.
