Legal Question in Family Law in New York

When I got married, I hyphenated my last name, but my MAIDEN name is the last name (my maiden name was Weber. I married Martinez. But I had the name read "Martinez-Weber". I got divorced, but didn't change my name to get rid of the "Martinez". When I get my SS statement, it says, "Martinez-Weber". I am getting married again, and just want to be Weber. Since Weber is ALREADY the last name, do I need to legally file to get the Martinez off? Thank you. Also, I don't have a ready copy of the divorce decree

The judgment should say that you are free to resume use of your maiden name or any prior surname. Obtain a copy and see what is says.
