Legal Question in Family Law in New York

When I married in July 2009,no prenuptial agreement was signed. My husband has his own business. Can he sign over his business to his son even though we are now married in the state of New York?

If the husband owned the business before you were married it is considered his separate property. However, you may be enitled to share in the appreciation of that business if you participated, contributed, etc.
