Legal Question in Family Law in New York

i have been married for two years and now getting a divorce we have no money to split no children together and no property I do not want to use a lawyer he is. Can I just tell his lawyer that I just want the papers to sign. There is no reason for me to have to spend money when all I want to do is sign the papers.

As long as you are aware of your rights, and if you believe that you are not entitled to anything, you can go ahead and sign without a lawyer. However, you should be 100% sure that you understand everything in the documents. Do NOT sign without reading and understanding them fully.
