Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I've been married for 3 years now and have a 1 year old child. I want to leave my husband because things aren't working out for both of us. Its very stressful we're both verbally abusive to each other. I have reached the stage of wanting to commit suicide. I need out! Would i be able to get a Divorce? If yes, would i get to keep the child? I'm not working I'm still a student attending college.

Yes, you can likely get a divorce. Call a lawyer asap. Don't commit suicide, your child needs you. Feel free to call me to discuss. The consultation is free, and my fees for divorce are very low. I can likely help you. 212-913-9907. http://www.NYCDivorceCenter.com

Yes, you can get a divorce. That is basically guaranteed now that we have no-fault divorce in New York. You maybe able to get custody of your child but that will require more information before I can advise you. Please do not talk about suicide anymore. Especially if you wish to have custody or even visitation with your child without a supervisor present.

If you would like to discuss this further, you can contact me at 516-746-4747 or at [email protected]
