Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I am in the middle of a divorce and my husband stole my truck (that the judge was to stay in my possession even though it's in his name) out of my driveway tonight. The police could not help because the court papers did not arrive yet. They let him keep it and he has a history of steLing vehicles including his own and breaking them down into parts scattered where you will never find them. What do I do?

An attorney would need to see a copy of the court papers you are referring to in order to advise you. It is possible that he has violated a court order and is now in contempt.
