Minor Emancipation/living with friends

I'm 16 years old, i have a job, and im quite responsible. im living with my grandparents but I would really like to move out and live with some friends of mine. Can i do this legally without my parents permission? can my friends or myself get in trouble?

No you cannot just up and leave. You must move for emancipation in Family court. Moveover, unless these friends are very very upstanding, the move will be forbidden as not being in your best interest.

BTW before you do this, check on the consequense of being declared an emancipated minor. Your parents are off the hook entirely for almost all costs related to you.

THink before you act. This is a big decision.
