Modification of origional divorce decree

I am looking to relocate based on my job moving to a different state, I have custody of my 6-year old child. How difficult will it be to do this?

As difficult as the Father will make it. If he is involved in child's life he will object and Judge will decided whether in Best Interest of child to re-locate away from father.
