I am in the process of getting a divorce. If I open up new bank accounts , does my husband have any right to them ? Am I responsible for any charge account debts he accumulates now ( I have removed my name from his charge accounts.)

Assets, wages and income acquired after filing for divorce are usually considered separate property, including bank accounts.

However, you may need to prove that the source of the assets or income is not from "marital" sources.
