Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Per Monthly Payment Schedule

When first divorced, I had 4 children under 21 whom I was scheduled to pay child support. I am not sure of what figure they used, but the payment amounted to $322.00 per week per child.

I would appreciate very much if you would calculate how much I should have been paying for 3, 2 and finally 1 child. I was under the impression that @4 = 34% of a figure, @ 3 = 27%. @2 = 25% and with one 17%. Unfortunately my attorney is now a judge, and can no longer be involved in my case. I was not left with exact figures and would appreciate you defining the amount which was due at each point.

My Ex about 4 months prior to my oldest son being 21 asked me to take him in, which I did, but I asked her to sign a $322.00 per month reduction for the 4 months. She gladly agreed. I now understand that may not have been lawful, but it was a written agreement between us. My main question remains what should have been the per weekly amount that I should have been paying. In the end, we can settle any differences. Thank you

Re: Per Monthly Payment Schedule

Wow - I have a lot of questions - your child support totaling over $1200 would be based on over $200,000 per year - when one child left, your CS obligation on the old income would be 1167 per week, when two left - it would be $1000 per week - the support is based upon the new percentage times the applicable income.

Your writing could be valid - would gladly meet about it - my office number is five one six, two four eight four thousand.
