Legal Question in Family Law in New York
I am currently moving through a divorce and my ex signed in front of a notary a PSA(property settlement agreement) stating our contents were separated and she signed it in satisfaction. She took what she wanted 8 months ago and now that we are close to the finalization of this divorce, claims she wants other items and contents I have stating they are gifts to her and her personal property. I live in the upstate area of New York and wonder if she can just all of the sudden claim she wants items and can she proceed to do this down the road. What is my legal stance.

To give a proper answer, I would have to read the agreement and I would have to know, specifically, what she alleges is her property.
However, generally based on the facts set forth in your question, I would opine that the answer is no. She may not change her mind after she signed the settlement agreement.
