moving out of state

single mom living with parents with sole custody father after 5 1/2 years re apeared and got supervised theruputic visitation 1 hr on saturdays at the library. my parents are 65 and are retiring out of state. financially I can not stay here I want move with them. I need to know can I just move or do I have to notify anyone.

Unfortunately, yes. YOu must make an application to the court to relocate. THe court will then apply a number of factors to determine if the move is in the best interest of the child. There are several factors, including the impact the bond already established between child and father and the economic benefit of the move on you and the child.
