do i nedd to file for a divorce of a mariage outside the united states and never
i married a woman in jordan and never registered the marriage in the united states or europe. the marriage has ended. do i need to file for a divorce at all? or can i write her a letter stating the marrige is over and i want a divorce and then notarized the leeter?

Since you were legally married, you will need to obtain a divorce. Merely sending your wife a letter of your intentions is insufficient to accomplish your goal of divorce.
