non payment of divorce settlement

Can my x husband stop or decrease payments that were set at the time of divorce? He is to give me a set amount each month for 6 yrs and has stopped paying them. What can I do about it?

You can enforce the agreement. If the terms of the agreement were incorporated in the judgment [which is common], he may also be in contempt of court.

You may also be entitled to counsel fees.
