i own property that was seperate from own martial home i am being told that it is also his please help if you can direct with an explantion of martial property thank you

In basic terms marital property is any property acquired during the course of the marriage using marital assets or for the benefit of the marriage. Whether the property that you refer to is truly marital or separate property can only be determined on a fact-specific basis.
