Legal Question in Family Law in New York

non-party deposition subpoena

A guy I work with is going through a divorce. Someone dropped off a subpoena at my home for me to appear before a notarypublic at his wifes lawyers office. My son accepted it. It is from the Supreme Court of the State of New York. It was not handed to me. Do I have to respond to this.

If it's not signed by a judge you don't have to respond to it, if it is, you may.
