Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Notice of Appearance

I was served with a summons for divorce

and need to serve the lawyer with a notice

of appearance. I am representing myself.

What is the appropriate way to serve it?

Re: Notice of Appearance

By the way, David forgot to mention that since you are a party, you cannot serve the notice of appearance. The notice must be served by an individual over age of 18 years. Furthermore, an affidavit of service must accomany the notice of appearance. Finally, since you are pro se, the notice of appearance should be filed with the county clerk.
