Legal Question in Family Law in New York
How to obtain an authorization for a minor to legally travel to the united states with his mother and without the father consent. the father abandoned them and denies the autorization for the son to travel. They are legally divorce, but refuses to give the authorization when he is not even in the country and has never care for them. The family court from El Salvador insists that only the father can give an authorization or a family member from the father, but they all denied to give authorization. I'm the minor's uncle and brother of his mother living in New York and a US citizen, My mother is the petitioner who is also a US citizen.
Please help, we need an advice so that my sister and nephew can have a better future. Thank you in advance and God bless you all.

Unfortunately, since the children are located outside the US, a New York Court does not have jurisdiction to render a decision. You are subject to the jurisdiction and must petition the Court in El Salvador.
I would suggest contact a lawyer from El Salvador.
